"It was definitely the best one yet and we enjoyed supporting it very much. Loads for everyone to do and great info stalls too. The games and gazebos went down well, and were great for rain, Pilates and shade from the sun! "

SOCIETY

Society Society a world full of being told what to do; A world full of fitting in But what does it really mean to be normal Does it mean following the crowd Doing the next crazy thing everyone is going on about ; It is it merely being you Even in a place where we are told to feel safe; Feel included We are still told what to do What to think When I was writing this poem I was puzzled; Puzzled on what to write about There were so many horrible things going on in the world; Yet nothing to write There was CLIMATE CHANGE DEPRESSION SOCIAL MEDIA All these problems But couldn’t chose one Then it struck me What better to talk about then the ones who say it; The ones who speak the word Do we really think that these thing are bad or is it merely society; And in no way am I saying that these things aren’t problems; But do you truly believe in them Or is it merely society So many muted voices So many unheard So many forgotten So many castaway So many for what? Because we are children Or is it merely because society wants it That brings me back to this project Cold fire A place to speak your word So I invite you to go against everything society has taught you And speak Speak now
